So we’ve got a distribution scheduled for this weekend, and I think it’d be fun to share with you the difference. The photo below is what the Kosher Food Bank looks like today, the last day before our next food distribution.
The shelves are full, there’s packets of toilet paper being prepared and our freezers have been refilled with donated frozen bread.
It’s taken a lot of work to get to this point, and Sunday morning we’ll have a little more housekeeping to do before we let our clients in – change the bottled water, sweep the floors again, and check for last minute donations at our bins at KBI’s front doors.
Distribution day itself is always super busy – we see about 25 of our families – and anything we can get done before makes that day just a bit easier!
